Aim for JOY

Hi everyone! My name is Nilla~I used to have Vanilla as my name, but since it sounds like a nickname rather than a name, I changed it into Nilla. But you guys can continue to call me Vanilla if you prefer:) I was born in Guangdong (Canton), China, a place where the delicious comes from!

I am currently a student of Queensland University of Technology, doing Master of Strategic Advertising, graduating at the end of 2008(hopefully:-p).

I am a member of Hope Brisbane Christian Church. I’ve been a christian for nearly 4 years, my life has been totally changed since I became a christian, especially since I came to brisbane, and joined CCM (Campus Christian Movement). Thanks God so much for always giving me the best! The best parents who never fail to offer me what I need, the best younger sister who always gives me the better, the best brothers and sisters in Christ who always give me support and encouragement, and the best friends who will never ‘bully’ me .

I like singing and listening to music, I am used to putting my mp3 on while doing things (except studying), I enjoy cooking, my ‘creative cooking’ always comes out periodically and miraculously^^ I like travelling as well, I wish that one day I’ll have a chance to travel with all my best friends, which I’ve never tried, it must be wonderful!

Some people may think that I am shy and quiet, some may think that I am crazy and talkative, or even noisy, it depends on what kind of people I am facing, but generally speaking, I am an easy going person, sometimes it takes time to get close to some people though. But I am trying to be kind to every single one of my friends, because friendship is so precious in my eyes.

Please pay attention that I am a very blur person, so please don’t keep any valuables with me!

But don’t worry too much, I am also a responsible person. I will never forget what I have promised.

The purpose for me to create this blog is to share my life with you guys. I would like to let everyone know how God has worked in my life through different ways. I hope that, through this communication, we will know each other more.
